Halves & Wholes

Folks have been buying beef by the half & whole from our farm for decades. Most buy a whole for their own family, many split a whole with another family, and some buy one for their grown children's families. There's a reason our customers come back year after year; there's huge value and savings in buying beef in bulk.
Plus, the process is super simple.
  1. You notify us that you'd like to reserve a beef (or half) and we'll get an invoice for a deposit emailed to you to lock in your beef reservation (we'll let you know when it's estimated to be ready).
  2. Once your deposit is paid, we'll send you a cut sheet so you can request the butchering be done exactly to your specifications. If you're unfamiliar with some of the cuts or how the butchering is done, we have recommendations for this as well.
  3. When your beef has reached butcher weight, we'll take it to our local custom processor, Sunrise Meats in Princeton, MO.
  4. You'll pay us by the carcass hanging weight (average 865lbs) minus the previously made deposit, and you pay the processor their fees directly when it's ready to be picked up. 
If you have a local processor you're familiar with and would like to use (and it's within a reasonable hundred or so miles of the farm), we'd be happy to deliver the animal there as well. No request is too much, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We're happy to help get our beef in your freezer.
We have beef available all throughout the year. It's always best to notify us and get your deposit in to reserve your beef, even if it's months down the road. That way we know how many to grow so when you're ready, your beef will be ready. Contact us below to get started.
